Why did my crawl stop before the whole site?›
Every plan has a page budget per crawl. When the crawler hits it, the audit is marked partial — and Octolyze will never compare a partial crawl against a full one as if the site regressed. Raise the limit in project settings and re-crawl to cover more.
What’s the difference between severity and impact?›
Severity is how broken something is; impact is how much it matters given demand and page intent. A high-severity issue on a page nobody searches for isn’t your first move — Octolyze weighs both and tells you what to fix first.
What does “not yet measured” mean?›
It means a check couldn’t be completed — a timeout, a crawl limit, or missing evidence — so we mark it unfinished instead of scoring it as a pass. It’s the honest state, and it never counts as zero.
How do I connect Search Console and Analytics?›
In a project’s Integrations, connect each with Google — it’s OAuth, read-only, and revocable. Octolyze then folds real demand and behaviour into every decision. Disconnect any time from Integrations, or directly in your Google account.
Is my connected Google data safe?›
Yes. We request read-only scopes, store an encrypted revocable token, and never write to your Google properties or use your data to train models. See
Security for the full picture.
What’s the difference between SEO and GEO?›
SEO asks whether Google can reach and rank a page; GEO asks whether AI assistants can read, understand, and cite it. Octolyze checks one URL across both and keeps the evidence connected — one decision, not two audits.
How do I prove a fix actually worked?›
Re-crawl the site. Octolyze separates work that shipped from fixes it can verify against fresh evidence — and from states that were expected all along — so a client sees proof, not a promise.
Can I invite my team, and control what they see?›
Yes. Assign roles — from a full SEO manager to a report-only client — enforced on the server, not just hidden in the UI. Each person sees exactly their scope, nothing more.
What happens to my history when I re-crawl?›
Nothing is lost. Each crawl is kept, so History and trends compare over time. A re-crawl adds a new point; your previous audits stay exactly as they were.
Can I share a report with a client?›
Yes — publish a white-label report as a shareable link, or provision a report-only client account that sees the decision and evidence without your workspace.
